How to Play Poople

Poople is a daily word ladder game. You start with one four-letter word, change exactly one letter per move, and try to reach POOP in the fewest legal steps.

Start with the current word

Read the start word before guessing. A Poople move is legal only when your new word keeps three letters from the previous row and changes one tile. This is why TUNE can become TONE, but TUNE cannot jump straight to POOP. The board gives immediate feedback, so each rejected move helps you understand whether the word is outside the list, repeats an old row, or changes too many letters.

Use real four-letter bridge words

The middle words are the heart of Poople. A strong route often moves through bridge words such as TONE, TOME, POME, POMP, PLOP, RAMS, RAMP, or ROMP. These words may not look related to the start word, but they keep the one-letter rule alive and bend the route toward POOP.

Reveal help in a safe order
